I have been bouncing around within the same 10-15 pounds for the last 4 months. It is time to get down to business, and get the scale moving in the right direction. I have had about enough of Remus, and his continued need to stick around - our love affair must end. To help me motivate to get moving, I have had to institute a new goal for myself, and have come up with a fantastic reward.
The new goal is to have lost a total of 101 pounds by January 1, 2011. I believe there is no reason this should not be completely attainable. I haven't weighed myself in a couple of weeks, but I think that should be about 40-50 pounds (depending on what, if any, weight I have added since the end of May - right before I went on my 4 month "part-time" status). I lost 60 in 3 months - so if I get my ass moving, and utilize YC, I should be able to accomplish this with no major problems.
In an effort to embrace this new goal 100%, I am going to go back to my determined lifestyle immediately after I returned from FC. I am going off caffeine, no fast food or ordering pizza and no booze. I also just ordered myself the "Body Bugg" (a fancy pedometer/calories burned tracker armband), and will be tracking all of my food intake. This is go time people. I understand I will still end up going out to eat occasionally, but the non-cheddar cheese laden salad will be my date. No more of this half-assed attempt at not piling the small portion of Remus I have lost back on. It is time to get him out of here....all of him...for good! And what better time to do it than holiday season!?! =) I have a cheat day built right in - it is called Thanksgiving. One day to eat whatever I would like, and then back on track.
As part of my punishment...I mean, inspiration...I will be weighing myself every Friday, and posting the total number of pounds lost on my blog, and FB page. I figure if that isn't enough to make me want to move my rear, nothing will be. I know I can do it...I am just dragging you guys along as moral support. Cheerleaders, if you will. So get your pom-poms out, people!
I have been looking for ways to reward myself....other than food....for months. I usually do reward with food - and how backwards is that?!?! Great job exercising and eating well - eat this crap and pile it right back on!! I don't consider myself to be a stupid person, but I sure do everything I can to give that impression sometimes! I have determined that if I reach this goal, I get to get myself the Blackberry Torch. I used to have a Blackberry, and I loved it - well, loved everything except the browser. It looks like they may have fixed that issue, so it might just be perfect! I am using Marilyn's old iPhone, which is a great phone - but I miss the keyboard. And I am hoping I won't be tempted to eat a new phone....and if not, I think circuit boards are almost calorie-free.
Anyone else want to join me on this mission? I could publish your stats along with mine each Friday? It could be really fun! At least think about it....OK? Promise? Fantastic.
Yes! You can do it, Natalie! I have my pom-poms out and ready! *\0/* <---see? Me and my pom-poms!
